Ask your employer first. Many companies have a learning and development budget. CKA is a legitimate business expense for any team running Kubernetes. A simple Slack message to your manager is worth asking.

Buy the bundle. The CKA + CKS bundle is almost always cheaper than buying both separately. If you plan to do both certifications, buy together when a sale is on.

You have 12 months to use the exam after purchase. Buy during a sale, study at your own pace. You do not need to sit the exam immediately after buying.

One free retake is included. The exam voucher includes one retake at no extra cost. Take the first attempt even if you do not feel 100% ready treat it as a paid practice run.
